The “Sexy Can I” artist, 45, disclosed in a Jan. 25 Instagram update that he “nearly perished,” but survived due to “appeals and encouragement” from his followers and family.
“I was in the clinic. My heart’s only pulsating, like, 25 percent, but as long as I stay centered and remain on the correct trajectory, everything will be fine,” Ray J remarked. “So thank you for all your appeals”. He later conceded that his physical state is still “not well,” but expressed gratitude for everyone who supported him during this grueling interval. “Thank you to my mother, [sister] Brandy, and my father, and everyone for assisting me through,” he noted.

In a distinct livestream later shared on social platforms, Ray J informed his audience that he was advised by his clinical staff that he only has a few months left to survive. “2027 is definitely a conclusion for me,” he mentioned in the recording.
